[pct-l] Do hikers just go through the snow on Mt. Jacinto, Big Bear etc.? What are your plans?

Hey Joel Im thinking today of moving my leave date back two weeks tell May
1st and hope spring decides to set in. All reports are lots of snow in all
of the so cal mountains. San Jacintos are a go around for sure unless you
are geared up and it sounds like up near Big Bear the PCT is pretty well
snow covered also, maybe some one who live up that way can give some info on
that, and this weather is for sure going to delay any decision on the fire
reroutes. The National Weather Service talks about still another cold system
comming for next week. Doesn't seem like winter wants to give it up yet.
