[pct-l] butane canisters at Kennedy Meadows General Store?

Hi folks. One more question: Can one count on buying MSR butane canisters at
Kennedy Meadows general store? In Shaffer's guide book it says they have it,
but it's maybe outdated (2003). How was it last years? Also, if one arrives
after the herd?  If it's not possible to get butane at Kennedy Meadows, what
about Independence?
