Good point.  The campgrounds in Idyllwild have a 14 day limit so a week is
no problem.  Idyllwild is a great place with more amenities than Anza.  But,
the reason I suggested Anza was because he asked for something before the
San Jacintos.

There's a campground in Idyllwild.  I think it's <$5/day to stay in
the 'PCT hiker' area.  You could hitch in from 74.  Whether they would
disapprove of you staying for a week, I dunno.
