Good evening, Ethan,
That Kelty bag looks pretty good for the price. That’s about $200 less than
a good down bag of comparable warmth for 14 ounces more weight. It would
nice if you could get an independent weight-check on it though. Sometimes
those things can be upwards of a half-pound heavier than advertised. I
hiked for several years – and about 1,000 miles of PCT -- with a bag of that
class and it did fine. I still have it as a spare.
