[pct-l] Flotsam and Jetsam AND the BOOTS!

There is one very important point about those boots.. (I was there when the whole thing went down in Big Bear)
Pete, the owner of Equada outfitters in Big Bear Lake, upon hearing the dilemma, donated a pair
of size 11 boots to help US.. THE THRU-HIKER COMMUNITY. 
In fact the pair of boots he donated went through several owners besides the first.
This is an example of the incredible generosity of Trail Angels and Trail Town Folk towards our dirty stinking Hiker Trash Butts!
That was Pete of Equada Outfitters in Big Bear Lake California, that deserves the credit for helping PCT hikers resolve their petty differences in 2009.
Don't forget the trail town folk, they can be you greatest allys towards realizing your dream!
