3M Ultrathon (34.34%deet) works well.

I believe there's a section in Ray Jardine's Beyond Backpacking explaining that anything over 35%deet is a waste. Don't know if it's true but the 3M has kept me sane in the Sierra and North Cascades in July.

> I guess most folks carry DEET. What concentration do folks find the best? And do you carry a spray container (how much)? Or just a plain bottle? Coleman has just come out with several different DEET products of different concentrations and different sizes.
