[pct-l] Best place to park at Mt. Laguna

I have used the Red Tailed Roost Volunteer parking lot. It's across
Sunrise Highway and a bit south of Burnt Rancheria Campground. You can
access the PCT from there via Thing Valley Road. I think you will need
an Adventure Pass to park there, but you need the Adventure Pass to
park anywhere on Mt Laguna. You can double check with the ranger
station in Alpine 619-445-6235.

If you really don't want to buy the Adventure Pass there is park and
ride parking area near Boulder Oaks CG (mile 26) and/or you would have
to go north to Kwaaymii Point (mile 53.5) to park outside of Cleveland
National Forest.
