[pct-l] Pct-l Digest, Vol 28, Issue 10

AsABat, All,

 

Rob & Steve hiked section E sobo between 27 and 31 March.  Here's what we observed regarding water:

 

31 Mar

-Sierra Pelona saddle:  about 5 gallons cached

-Bouquet Canyon:  Stream flowing well

30 Mar

-Oasis Cache:  2-3 gallons at the cache from the Andersons

-San Francisquito Fire Station:  great hospitality, plenty of water

-Red Carpet Cache:  Stream running, 5 gallons cached from the Andersons between the Red Carpet and the road

29 Mar

-Trailside flow about 1 mile north of the Upper Shake CG turnoff (not listed on the PCT-L)

-Red Rock Water tank full and clear

-Pine Cyn Creek and Pond: strong flow from creek, pond full

-Trailside flow 1 mile north of Pine Cyn Rd TH (not listed on the PCT-L)

-Hikertown:  great hospitality and plenty of water
