Matt,

I took the picture of my kitchen system to include the methyl-alcohol stove for demo purposes. I do not carry the alcohol option, but rather opt for biofuels and esbits. In the Sierras, I follow the elevation fire restrictions: above 10,000 ft - esbit tablets, below 10,000 ft - biofuels. Having seen much of our Los Padres National Forest burned over the past 2 years, I am paranoid about using fires, so primarily use esbits.

You are correct about the USFS outfit in the slide. The shirt tag says Lion. I wear Columbia cutoff pants (don't remember the model name) that weight approx 10 oz. Not a matching set but functional.
