[pct-l] Resupply in Mammoth, closed gate

So if you get there after the gate is closed, rather than walk up the 
paved road, it makes more sense to me to hike on to Red Cones (4 miles 
trail south from Red's Meadow,) and take a connecting trail over Mammoth 
Pass to the Lake Mary Roadend at Horseshoe Lake.  From there, catch a 
ride into town with someone.  That way you climb the 1300' up from the 
valley to the town elevation on the PCT, instead of on a road walk.  THe 
connector trails are easy going, as Mammoth Pass is just a long bulge 
rather than a climb.
