I just got my 5 foot WM 20.4 ounce $200 Tamarack sleeping bag -- what a neat deal for this world-class quality and reputation.??A great bag.? WM even gives you two stow bags with it.? One is the best long term sleeping bag storage bag I have ever seen and the other is a very small backpack storage bag.? I will not use the small bag, since I do not want to crush the down anymore than I have to.? I will use the Tamarack as an Elephant Foot half bag along with a down jacket.? Nice.? Very nice.? Also, I will use it mostly as a down blanket and not zip it up all the way.? Side sleeping, twisting, and turning?are no problem now.? Sweet.

?

In shoulder season or if you are a very cold sleeper all you have to add is the 8 ounce Sea-to-Summit Reactor Therolite bag.

?

I also got the WM down pillow at 4.6 ounces.? Very nice in the Trekker pillow case with my tent rainfly.? Wow.? Dreamland is now guaranteed.? The idea in using the rainfly is to firm up the pillow a little.? If I have to use the rainfly (rarely used), I can just put some clothes in the pillow case.? Simple.

?

Say, over at www.backcountry.com they have the 2007 650-down Marmot?Ama Dablam down jacket for?$144.? The new 800-down jacket is?$200.??You might check this out.

?

Cheers, Switchback
