[pct-l] Bathing (swimming?) on the PCT

Just got back from 7 days on the PCT, Cottonwood Pass to Kearsarge Pass
(including Mt Whitney), with my two sons.  To me, high mountain lake
swimming is a supreme pleasure.  We swam in 3 lakes above 11,000 feet --
Timberline Lake, Tyndall Frog Ponds, and Flower Lake coming down from
Kearsarge.  Sure hope no one wants to take away that thrill.  We spent
500 miles in the dusty, dry chaparral to get here.  The NPS rangers
didn't seem to mind; they encouraged us.
