[pct-l] Favorite Parts of the PCT

I think one of the best things about the PCT is that just about every part
can be awesome under the right circumstances and it is never exactly the
same experience for any two hikers. That time of day, that place, that
weather, that partner, etc. can make for a special vibe. Personally, I
especially enjoyed the Carson Pass area in July of 1999, Evolution Basin in
June of 2001, the Desolation Wilderness in July of 2005, the Three Sisters
Wilderness in July of 2007, and the Pasayten Wilderness in July of 2009. I
was really glad that I did a couple of off-PCT things along the way, too,
like the side trip to Lassen Peak and the Eagle Creek Trail. I am looking
forward to seeing it all again, but I think I will go southbound this time.
