I still use my Wanderlustgear Nomad tent. Kurt Russell made these in South
Carolina, but his customer service was very slow and ultimately I think his
success overwhelmed him and he disappeared from the market. Nice to see Judy
pick up the design (I saw a post where she confirms it is based on the
Nomad). The main difference I see between the two tents is Kurt had one-foot
aluminum "spreader bars" six feet apart to widen the tent at the head and
feet with the two trekking poles coming together at a 1/2-inch PVC elbow at
the center of the roof, and Judy omits the spreader bars instead using a PVC
pipe to widen the roof line at the center. I don't see Kurt's awning out
front though (that used another aluminum pole) to create a larger vestibule.
