Specific trail indulgences. Well, it is mostly all good when you are  
so hungry. But here's what was most memorable:

1. Jose burger at Paradise Cafe
2. Dinner and breakfast at Drakesbad
3. Breakfast buffet at Timberline Lodge
4. Stehekin bakery
5. Dinner at the restaurant at Stehekin

I'll add my mom's cooking to the list, too. A few on the trail might  
get a taste of it.

Other indulgences:
1. Warner Springs
2. Deep Creek hot spring
3. Hanging out for a zero day at Kennedy Meadows
4. The hot spring near Bridgeport
5. Zeroing in my tent in some small towns
6. Zeroing almost anywhere, actually
7. Hiking through Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne instead of on the  
official trail
