[pct-l] Current Conditions of CA Section C

We got a light snow here in Big Bear about a week ago, but it's all melted
off and has been warm and sunny this last week. 

I drove by Onyx Summit the other day on my way to San Bernardino and there
didn't appear to be too much snow in that area. That's the highest point of
the PCT in this section at about 8,500 feet. I can still see snow in the
mountains but it's melting off quickly. 

You will probably run into snow patches on the PCT but nothing too hairy. I
don't think you will have any problems. 

Just be prepared in case a new snow storm rolls in. It seems unlikely, but
often we will get occasional unexpected spring snows through Mother's Day. 

Last year it snowed in June.
