I had a pair that fit over my glasses, and had side shields.  Their favorite
habit  when I looked even slightly down at something was to slide down my
nose so fast I usually couldn't grab them quick enough to keep them out of
the dirt, gravel, cinders, whatever.  They scratched pretty fast doing
that.  I know I could've worn a strap to hold them in place, but that made
them harder to get on and off, ...especially when wearing a hat of some
sort, when not in use,I usually just hung them from the neck of my shirt.
You'll notice I'm using the past tense here, they're long gone.
 Haven't found a decent substitute in the way of glasses,  except for the
clip-ons, (I prefer the ones that flip up) but a hat w/ a huge wide brim
works pretty well for me.  I can tilt it to shield my eyes depending on
where the sun is.
