[pct-l] Could extremely long posts be auto-rejected?

Beyond a heartfelt "hear, hear", I wonder if the list management
software could be set to reject messages based on word count or line
count?  This latest example was over 500 lines, over 3000 words.
Seems reasonable --- even with some significant quoted text --- that a
limit could be set significantly lower without causing problems for
ordinary posts.

Even better would be some heuristics to auto-trim long chunks that
were software-identified as "included" text, but that's likely
reaching ...
