Here is the weather forecast for Mammoth Lakes area, from a friend at the
NWS in San Diego.  Since Mammoth is a lower elevation than the PCT, chances
are that the precipitation will be snow on the PCT in the higher
elevations.  Note that these will be showers, with little accumulation.
Next Thursday is suppoed to be sunny and warmer.  "Here Comes The Sun, do da
do da, Here Comes the Sun, I Say, It's All Right...."

*Friday*: Scattered showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Mostly cloudy,
with a high near 54. Calm wind becoming south between 5 and 10 mph. Chance
of precipitation is 30%.

*Friday Night*: Scattered showers and thunderstorms before 11pm, then
isolated showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 39. West wind between 5
and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
