Why not yoyo the High Sierra Trail?
You can turn around where it hits the JMT and you get a 98 mile trip. It also leaves to option of adding 25 miles (round trip) to extend it to Mt. Whitney.

Subject: [pct-l] Need trip idea
We would like to do a shakedown trip of about ten days, beginning about
July 1, with our llamas. We do not want to do any part of the PCT
between Kennedy Meadows and Leavitt Meadow, because we will be doing
that in August.
We would like a trail in California, with:
minimal mosquitoes
nice temps (daytime, 60-80 range)
adequate water supplies
about 100 miles to travel (50 miles in and out okay)
no snow on the ground
Does anybody have any ideas where we might go?
If it isn't wilderness, we can take a chain saw and do some trail clearing.
Marion
