[pct-l] VVR coverage

I'd like to "steal" this thread to ask a more general question.  Which service provider gives the best coverage for the entire PCT?  What about companies that buy time from the main providers (Verizon, ATT, Sprint, etc.) and link you with whoever has service at your location?  Thanks.  Mango

If you walk out of "town" at VVR toward the lake you can get ATT coverage when you get to the first big rock (about 100 feet).  All of Lake edison has coverage, just not "in town".

Without wishing to start a debate on technology spoiling the   
wilderness can I ask if anybody knows whether any of the cell networks   
reach VVR?  If so, which ones?
