[pct-l] PCT shakedown hike help

Hola mis amigos!
    I want to do a 5 - 10 day shakedown section hike during my two months of vacation this summer, anytime between the 15th and 30th of August.  I want to take on at least a 100 miles with a maildrop pickup or two.  Can anyone recommend a good stretch of the PCT to do it on, particularly in the Sierras, without having too much difficulty obtaining a permit. A Sierra section hike would be great, but I'm also open to any stretch.  Pct-l rocks!
