Tahoe City. The trail goes right through the west end of town. Make a perfect loop out of the trail, starting and ending at the lowest elevation.

  I am planning a Tahoe Rim Trail hike mid august, anyone suggest a good location to leave my vehicle? I was thinking the Reno airport but the cost is pretty high.
