We are entertained every year by the pronunciations of the following:
Cajon, Tejon, Idyllwild, and Tehachapi. I'm not sure I'd want that to
change!

How do you pronounce Yreka? I have always said Why reeka. You know,
because it starts with a Y, unlike the other Eureka.

By the way, if anyone decides to detour to play the slots, the state
is pronounced Nevada (short a like apple), not Nevahhhda.
