I see a lot of gear-list talk now as we prep for the next hiking  
season.  Here's my basic list:

I know the quantities for consumables may be off some, but you get  
the general idea.  Hey, it got me around the Tahoe Rim Trail in  
2008.  I'll be Southbound on the JMT with this gear in 2009.  My  
thanks go out to ultra lighter Andy S. (I've been using his gearlist  
spreadsheet format from his website).
