[pct-l] Verizon & AT&T between Timberline Lodge Mt. Hood and Timothy Lake, OR

On Highway 26 between Government Camp, OR and about 25 miles south Timothy Lake, OR, with that stretch of road being very close (within a mile or two) to the PCT, Verizon coverage as of last July was zero while AT&T coverage was good.

From near Government Camp up to Timberline lodge (part way up Mt. Hood at about 6,100 feet) Verizon coverage was good.

Subject: Re: [pct-l] Verizon coverage on trail/towns/etc

I'm a verizon user, and my experience on the trail is that I do not get
reception as well as ATT users. In town they seem about equal, but for
example in the section from Highway 58 Mojave to Kennedy Meadows, there is
essentially zero verizon reception - I may see a few bars on the phone, but
call fails. ATT users reportedly have some reception in this stretch.
