[pct-l] Speaking of Resupplies...

Hey there,

Just a few thoughts... I don't know what sort of food you are packing and/or how but I thought I would toss a couple of ideas your way. Can't hurt, right?

Note: these ideas won't work if you are really concerned with garbage/weight.

Peanut Butter and Nutella are both available in single serving packages. Justin's Nut Butter is the brand (also flavored PB and almond butter). I've seen it in boxes of 10 packages at QFC and it's available online in multiple places. (not exactly cheap)  I've seen the single servings of nutella at World Market.

Another thought... Would a food saver vacuume thingy work? Make individual packets yourself?

Happy Hiking,
Dicentra

Does anyone have any suggestions on repackaging spreads?

I'm planning maildropping a combination of peanut butter, nutella, jam and
honey to myself for lunches (maybe two condiments per 100 miles or so).
Entire containers would be crazy heavy, but repackaging into ziplock baggies
seems like a recipe for disaster and a pain in the butt.
