Ain't that the truth? I have found trying to find any useful  
information about feet and long distance hiking to be futile. It's as  
if podiatrists only see fat, sedentary, diabetic people in their  
practices.

The closest I have come to finding useful information about the  
effects of long distance exercise on the body has been to look up  
ultra-running. No answers, but at least some useful info.
