On the subject of insoles, there is a store called The Walking Company.
They are in most malls. They have a machine that you stand on which
calculates where most of your weight is placed on your feet and from that it
recommends an appropriate insole. Now, that machine may just be a fancy
marketing ploy, especially since they don't carry that many different styles
of insoles to choose from (and they run about $60, yikes), however, I have
had my insoles for over a year now and wear them to work, in my trainers,
every day. They still feel great. I have tried superfeet and also did not
like they way they feel. Something to consider. If nothing else, you can
go to the store and use the machine to see where you do place your weight
and that can help you decide which type of shoes to buy.
See ya,
Brad.
