I just received a letter from the American Hiking Society mentioning that public comment ends on February 17th on a proposed rule that would amend current regulations for designating bicycle use on existing NPS trails.  Visit http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2008/E8-18023.htm to read the NPS proposed rule change and submit your comments by COB Tuesday, February 17th.  
You may submit comments, by typing in the number 1024-AD72, to the Federal rulemaking portal: http://www.regulations.gov.  Follow instructions for submitting comments.  Include The National Park Service and 1024-AD72 in your response.
