Excellent suggestion. But I have to make sure I don't use my  
recumbent (yeah, I'm one of those embarrassing nerds). I bet that was  
part of my problem last year. I had been working out on my recumbent  
trike and even participated in a metric century ride the week before  
I left for the PCT. The recumbent works my hamstrings much more than  
my quads. Gotta get out my commuter instead.
