[pct-l] Mt Whitney permit Change

This means the PCTA needs to change their thru-hiker permits. The Whitney Zone endorsement WILL be needed for those taking the side trip to climb Whitney from the west, even if they are returning to the PCT without going over Trail Crest and down to the Portal.

  I just called Inyo National Forest (760-873-2400) and apparently you
  do need a permit, my previous post was mistaken. The map I linked to
  only shows the Whitney Zone within Inyo NF but they say the zone also
  extends to the west to include Guitar Lake, Timberline Lake and the
  summit of Whitney.
