Wow, is the average number of starting thru-hikers up from 300 to 500?

Subject: [pct-l] 2009 PCT Hiker Migration
I just completed an analysis of the migration of PCT hikers in 2009 from
Mexico to Canada. You can view this analysis at HikeThru.com or at the link
below.

I would like to complete a more detailed analysis of the 2009 PCT thru-hiker
season. If you have access to a 2009 PCT log-book I would appreciate your
input. I will just need the number of thru-hikers for each day and the
location where the thru-hikers signed in. I would then create the chart,
update the website and give you credit for your contribution.
I believe by better understanding the migration of PCT thru-hikers we can
better manage the trail and increase the success rate of future PCT hikers.
