Great philosophy!

IMO my possessions own me.

Carrying a LW pack for extended times on the PCT has taught me that life
gets a whole lot better, less stressful, and more fun.

Several sayings have been created around this philosophy:

Warner Springs Monty: "Lightweight Backpacking
The fun goes up when the weight goes down".

Strider: "Best to travel light, carry little, keep it simple."

Everyday I keep working on my "Base pack weight of life"
What have you removed (or are going to remove) from your pack or life
to make things lighter in 2010?

Happy Holidays
