[pct-l] sleeping with your food everywhere except in the Sierra

Depends on the bear.  Some can be chased off easily . Others are much more persistent making it necesarry to move on up the trail if you have no way other than staying awake to protect your food.  Shhoo bear, shooo.  I've tossed some stones there way, made a lot of stupid noise.  A real trash bear that thinks it can get your food will try again and again.
