Doesn't everyone do that? I mean, it kills me to see people move to  
some beautiful lakeside, forested place such as the Minnesota North  
Woods and then put in green lawns and condos. As far as I could tell,  
Portland looked just as awful as any other city. But maybe  
Californians had already done their thing to it?
