[pct-l] trail maintenance

I agree.  One time on the JMT in Palisade area, I spent hours climbing 
under, over, and around fallen trees (the aftermath of the big fire there). 
It wasn't an adventure, it wasn't a challenge, it was just tedious work!
As someone who has done trail work, I'd be happy to take a bit of time on a 
thru hike to whack brush if there were clippers out there.  I think it's a 
great idea!
