Due to failures of 3 items of gear: shoes, tent sealing, & sleeping bag
stuff sack - and subsequent many days to repair or replace them off trail,
I'm terminating this years hike at Trout Lake, a much easier place to get
back in than Packwood. I'll be back next August to finish the PCT, and will
start the CDT next April.
