[pct-l] Section G Hike

I hiked part of PCT Section G last week to complete a gap between Death Canyon and Crabtree Meadow (now completed the section from KM to Toulomne). Started at Horseshoe Meadows and went over Mulkey Pass; exited over New Army Pass.  I noted that Mulkey or Trail Passes are easy ways to pickup a delivered cache left in one of the Horseshoe Meadows bear boxes.Water update:  .1) Death Canyon has a 6-8 inch stream of water at the creek crossing. Needs filtering. 
2) The only water source between Death Canyon and Chicken Spring Lake (1/2 mile from Cottonwood Pass) is from a spring crossing the trail above Poison Meadow.Took a few photos on this trip:http://picasaweb.google.com/beemancronClick on first photo album.Happy TrailsPaul "The Beeman" Cronshaw
