[pct-l] Magellan-like device for Europe?

Hi, Jim!

What I am looking for is a "Tom-Tom"-like device that shows a street map of where you are and will tell you how to get wherever you want to go in Europe and Poland or Turkey.... Isn't that what you can do with a Magellan device?

  I hear accuracy is not so good within a few hundred miles of the poles, unless you are on a flat ice sheet with good view of the horizon.
