u can leave ur vehicle at the ranger station there but u need to let them know when u go. I am getting a ride tues night from Half mile TO Warner Springs...maybe he can give u a ride back out. He's hiking right now but he should be back this weekend...email him and ask him

My wife and I are looking to play hooky from work for a bit starting the middle of next week and take advantage of the cool weather on Section A.

To make this spontaneous hike happen we would: (1) need a ride from Warner Springs to the Southern Terminus Wednesday mid-morning and (2) need to know a good place to leave our vehicle in Warner Springs.
