[pct-l] Cell Phone coverage

Hi All
 
I will be hiking next year and would like to know if there is  a consensus on 
which cell service is the best choice for a thru hike, AT&T  or Verizon? I am 
fully aware of the limited cell coverage in the mountains and  other sparsely 
populated areas.
 
I ask now because Unicel is leaving my State and I will be  getting new cell 
service soon.
