[pct-l] Hiker trash lifestyle

Not actually being hard-core hiker trash, I've looked into that abyss and
considered it at one point. One phrase comes to mind:

Disposable life.

Having job skills you can float on professionally such as, truck driver,
waitress, security gaurd, etc, these jobs are easy to find quickly and will
sustain a modest lifestyle and pay for your adventures. The storage company
manager sends you christmas cards.

Not only is your job disposable, you have no real personal obligations. No
family, no house payment, no roots to keep you tied down. It's a double edge
sword and highly dependent on personality.

These kind of folks don't provide for or further the society in which they
live in any traditional sense, but they do one thing very, very well:

They inspire all of us!

My hat is off to them.
