For your trip you'll *need* the 3 volume PCT Guidebooks from Wilderness 
Press available at www.pcta.org These books contain maps and a thorough 
narrative of the trail. Good reading over the winter. Additionally you'll 
want Ben Go's data book, a condensed version of the guidebooks and you'll 
use this most frequently on the trail.

While you're sitting there arm-chair hiking you can view the online PCT 
google map in great detail:

Side note: the advertising at the end of your email is placed there by your
