Over at www.mountainLaurelDesigns.com they have a nice SpectraLite shelter at 8 ounces.  It is the X Shelter.  What interested me was their claim for a fast setup.  With their Reflecto Guyline Mini LineLock Set it might be a good choice for the upcoming 2009 campaign.  There are lots of good pictures of the shelter too.  The only draw back is that it is expensive in the 8 ounce version at around $335.  Another thing I like about it is the wind resistance of the design.  With a nice light bivy and bag, it could be a great setup.  I think this might be one of the best tarp designs I have seen.  You would only use it in bad weather, but for 8 ounces, that is not a bad carry.
