[pct-l] How late can one start the PCT (not being a record-setter type) and expect to finish.

As for Todd's original question - there's a lot of "it depends" factors in the answer. As Diane and Mark both said, it's possible. A few people do it every year. Of course, there are also people who start a month earlier and still run out of time. If you want to start May 25th and finish the whole trail you're going to have to be focused and dedicated, with little time for messing around. It'll depend a lot on what the weather in Washington does that particular year. Some creative flipping may help.
