[pct-l] passport?

There are a few each year that go to the monument and touch it, sign in and
then hike back to Stehekin, Winthrop or other points south. Some of these
hikers have private reasons for not wanting to deal with the US/Canadian
officials. When you are done with the peacefulness of the PCT and being your
own soul...........you will need to step back into the REAL world and get
back on with life. It's a cold shock. Some decide they love the woods with a
new passion and will spend most of their future hiking the trails. The rest
of you have to get back into rules and regs. Govt sucks.........but
unfrotunately it rules.
