The Kahtoola microspikes is a much better option b/c they have the spikes and only weigh 9.8 oz.

As for the fuel...I would bring an esbit for backup just incase.

Also is fuel for a Jetboil readily available on the trail? I get at least 30 
days from a canister and I really dislike liquid fuel of any type.
