Donna,

I totally agree.  I recall in 2006 coming around a corner just south of Chihuahua Valley Road to the sound of chain saws and found Pete Fish and another fellow, Dennis (a triple crowner) taking down an 80 foot tree that had burned in the fire and was in danger of falling across the trail.  Seeing Pete handle that chainsaw with a 4' blade was amazing.  He toppled that three with such perfection that when it fell there was no damage to the trail nor did it require any further movement.  That was one big saw!  Yeah, those old timers do some amazing work!  Have any doubts here is a link to picture in my journal of these men, the tree and the chainsaw!
