"How's Your Trail?"   Hi All    started from Pine Canyon Rd at the  Old Shake camp grounds. The minute we got out of the car we were drenched. It came down in buckets. Stayed wet all day and into the night. The only thing dry was my sleep bag, thank God. Water rushing ever where New ravines all over the trail was a creek.  We also ran into deer hunters every where, from Horse camp about a mile up and a half mile down were a few trees across the trail. Some were bad where you had to go around down hill and was dangerous because of the steepness. There was a lot of trash, If I had an extra trash bag I could have made a fortune in aluminum cans and plastic bottles. We ended up at three points rd. and then walked to three points where my nephew picked us up. I really wanted to get to hiker town and meet Bob. I had picked this week because of it being cooler but didn't think that the first storm of the season would hit. We were not only wet but then had medical problems. Well hopefully we will do it in the spring after the KO.  Remember  "Be Prepared"  Ground Pounder Bill  "Semper Fi"

PS As fast as there was a ton of water on Saturday there was none to be found by Monday.
